Mommy got a new toy. My reaction, "And where's the new toy for Lucy Bird???" She claims this new toy is really more for me, yet went on to explain that I'm not allowed to bite, peck, chew, gnaw, and no, I'm not even allowed to touch it. Hmmmmm . . . I was a bit confused.

Excited to play, Mom opened up a little black box with what looked like an Apple on the side. I LOVE APPLES!!! "They've got JUICE!" Every time that I'd start ranting, talking, singing, just being my adorable self, she'd come over to my cage and hold this shiny new gadget toy up to my face.


And, of course, my reaction would be to totally shut up. Oh I whimpered a bit, held my wings out and started playing my baby bird act. But I wouldn't utter a word.


The minute she walked away, low and behold, I was back to my noisy self. Hehe....I love playing tricks on Mommy ;)


After the fifth or sixth try, I felt sorry for Mommy, and decided to give her one tiny little response . . .
